EPCOT center bell

Last night while me and my sister were out shopping we stopped in Goodwill and she found this bell.

Me and my sister almost never find vintage Disney stuff offline so this is just so very cool. I would say that this is best Disney related thing that has happened to me all month,but today I got invited to go to Mickeys very merry Christmas party tomorrow night. I will hopefully have tons of photos to post later. With my luck being this good I hope it does mean bad things for next month. Maybe when I get the time I will add photos of the rest of my vintage Disney collection.

Sofia the first Disney's sweetest most adorable new princess.

I just got done watching Disney's new movie Sofia the first the preview movie for Disney's  new TV series about about Sofia Disney's newest princess. That movie had to be the cutest Disney princess I have seen in years.I won't give the whole movie away, but I will tell what it is about . The movie is about a little girl named Sofia and her mother who come from nothing to royalty and in the movie and the future TV Series Sofia has to go to royal school to learn to be a princess manners, tea parties,balls and all. This movie was so cute and so pretty and lolita like I am very surprised no lolita blogs are talking about this I would think if nothing else the the idea of a girl learning manners and how to take tea would click with some lolitas. I know that for some lolitas things like taking tea is new to them like Sofia. .I am adding tons of photos to this page to show you how cute Sofia is and how this should really be more popular with lolitas .

it's time to vote!!

 It's time for those of you who have not already voted to get out and vote.I personally voted last week on Halloween. My voting had nothing to do with Halloween it was just a good day to vote. I hope whom ever you want wins . I know both can't win  I'm just being nice. For anyone who ask  no I'm not going to tell you who I voted for .I hope all of you like the cute video of Donald voting.

I hope all of you are having A good fall so far. I have added my only Disney Halloween related photos for this year. Sadly I don't have the time to go to Mickey's not so scary Halloween this year. The first photo is of me at Downtown  Disney before I went to see a preview of the new adorable Tinker Bell movie. I know the photo is not very Lolita, but it was much to early to think of something  better to wear.In this less than perfect photo you can kinda see my new adorable Hello kitty Halloween shirt. 

In the second photo here you can see the totally cute cell phone charm set with Tink and her sister on them that they gave away at the movie.I also have a movie poster that they gave away with the charms ,but I'm not going to add it because it is the same as the back round of the charms.

Photo three  was taken a few nights later again at Downtown Disney. I know this photo again is not very Lolita ,but I had just spent the day doing things  my cousins who were on vacation had never done before like a air boat ride. Air boat rides are not very Lolita friendly things to do.

The last  photo is of a window display I saw when leaving.I totally loved all of the costumes that displayed in all of the windows ,but this Lolita like pirate costume for teenage girls was just too adorable. This costume was so cute that if I wore store bought costumes I would have bought it. I love the fact that the Lolita has become popular enough that you can find tons of Lolita and Lolita like stuff at Disney now if your willing to hunt for it. I can't wait until December and the new Fantasyland opens . I can't wait to buy some of the new beautiful stuff I have seen I have seen online. Hopefully I can get a new Fantasyland   appropriate outfit ready by then. Whether I do or don't come up with a outfit hopefully I will have tons of photos to add here.

All of the stuff we bought at EPCOT's 30th

I am only posting photos of the stuff we bought or were given  because we have not gotten around to uploading and editing them yet. We did not buy everything they had just a good chunk of it.

 This was my lanyard given to me by the Celebration 30 group.

 EPCOT's 30th lanyard. The lanyard is Spaceship earth  print on one side and retro Futureworld print on the other.


 

  EPCOT 30th pin and patch set. I personally think the patch is a little bit silly ,but we love pins so we had to get it.

  EPCOT 30th trading metal and pin set.   The trading metal is a copy of a old EPCOT one day ticket and the pin  has all of the old Future world ride logos on it.

 

EPCOT 30th Figment  pin. Figment was done on this pin to look like he was on a  early 80's computer.

 EPCOT 30th day of pin.

 Epcot 30th pin and button combo. This pin is also a button. I think this is the first time Disney has made a pin like this.

 Another EPCOT 30th pin. This time its a flip up up pin  of Mickey and the gang watching illuminations the pin closed  is spaceship earth.

 EPCOT 30th mystery pin set. I am not normally big in to blind  boxed stuff  ,but this was too cool to pass up. As you can tell we are a few pins short of a set so we will be going back at Christmas time to buy the missing ones.

 My Brother in law and Sisters 30th shirts. Sadly they sold out of day of shirts in my size. The only day of shirts they had left that were small enough  for me were the orange kids sized Figment ones. As much as I love Figment I don't look very good in orange.

My button and guide map I was given as soon as we walked in. I love how Disney gives buttons for events like this.

 The last thing I am adding  our very cute food and wine festival pins that we bought at the 30th. The first one in Mickey in a cranberry bog and the second is the ever cute Duffy as baker.

Hopefully in the next week or so I will get our photos up and I will at least  get my sisters film of the 30th fireworks posted.  Oh one last thing I forgotten all of the 30th pins cards backs are a copy of the art that was on the opening day tickets.

My new Figment necklace.

I just had to share this. This afternoon a vintage Figment figurine I bought came in the mail. As soon as i got it out of the box I turned it into a necklace to wear to EPCOT's 30th. I thought since turning figurines into necklaces these days is popular and he is from 1982 he would be perfect for my as I am calling my early 80's Lolita look. The look in case anyone is wondering is based on the popular in 1982  Little house on the prairie look and the the early 80's love of candy colored stuff. I will add photos of my outfit after the event along with the rest of my photos from the event.

playing around with the blog

Right now I am playing around with new wallpaper for the blog. I like the new  pale pink chintz print I picked for the moment, but I was really hoping to find a pretty Disney print. I don't think I will find the Disney print I am looking for so I think it will stay the chintz until I get around to making a Disney wallpaper I like. I do like the fact that this wallpaper for some reason makes me think of the Crystal Palace at the Magic Kingdom .

My birthday at Disney

These are some of the photos from my birthday at the Magic Kingdom. This was one of the first photos of the day. I just had to go see Merida and the 3 bears. You can't see it in the photo,but the 3 bears move around.

 The second photo of the day. I had my photo taken with Princess Tiana because she had no she had no line. I got tons of photos with characters because it was rainy most of the day and the park was fairly empty.

On Main Street at the end of the day. Yes my purse is in a bag I did that to keep from getting rained on. All of the photos in this post were taken by my sister with my new camera I got for my birthday. The pink Minnie ears in all of the photos were a birthday gift from a friend.  I have to say it was a almost perfect Birthday. I love rain, I love good food,I love characters,I love the rides  and I love any day that the crowds are low enough that I can fit it all in one day.

The first photo here is of me with some very cute Japanese girls I met at Mickey's not so scary Halloween the year before last. My Halloween print out fit in the photo was made for me by my mother. My mother makes almost all of the cute lolita outfits I wear and all of the costumes me ,my sister and her husband wear.

This photo is from EPCOT's 25th .I just had to have my photo taken  with the robot from Horizons  in the EPCOT  25th museum because I totally  love Horizons. I am adding this photo because in a few weeks I am going to EPCOT's 30th.
